Hermanus was the last stop of a family trip we did in South Africa at the beginning of July. The apartment itself is amazing, new, clean and well located. Everything you need is in there and it felt like being at home. The best part was meeting Kate, who is super well organized and extremely kind. Absolutely recommended!

5 Star self-catering accommodation!!!We spent a weekend at Perla with our whole family occupying all 5 units. What a treat to have the whole place to ourselves and have the children playing in the yard between the units. The units are tastefully decorated, and the ameanities are 5 star luxury. The kitchens were fully equipped with everything we needed. We felt really safe and central. The location is tops! Walking distance to the beach with access to the cliff path and just around the corner from the best gelato ice cream in town. Would highly recommend!!! Thank you, Perla, for making our trip to the Western Cape memorable!

We recently had a wonderful family gathering at this complex, and we were thrilled to have the entire unit to ourselves. The spacious layout was perfect for our needs, and the property was impeccably maintained, clean, and tidy. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, making meal prep a breeze. Plus, its ideal location within walking distance to town made it super convenient. We highly recommend this complex for anyone looking for a comfortable and practical stay.

Excellent location in easy reach of Hermanus Center, only a few minutes walking distance to seaside. We loved the design, architecture and furniture, all well maintained. Kate was lovely, came to meet us, everything was perfect.Went for a swim and met the white rabbit, cute.Thanks for a wonderful stay. Well'be back.

Absolutely LOVED Perla. Luxury accommodation, everything you could possibly need or want, and 2 minutes walk to town. Furthermore, Kate is the most incredible hostess - nothing is too much trouble. I couldn't fault it - definitely the best place we stayed in South Africa.

Luxurious accommodation, tastefully decorated and a practical layout. Ideally located to access shops and beaches on foot. Very well maintained and clean. A must for a holiday for a couple or family, even in winter. We had a great holiday experience.

Please see 2 updates below.Can't give this any stars because of their customer service, but have to give one to allow post. In January 2020 I booked 2 nights for November 2020 via Bookings.com and paid at the same time. Due to flight cancellations and SA government not allowing tourists to visit until February 2021, I cancelled booking late June 2020. Perla cancellation policy is to charge 10% when cancelled this early, which I am happy to pay. As yet (Mid August), no-one has had the decency to reply to my emails. BEWARE....Please note. I was contacted 1 day after this post. They have been closed for several months due to Covid-19. They have now agreed to process a refund, so when received, I will amend this post.Update 27th Aug 2020. Today I have received the refund I requested just over a month ago. Due to closure of business due to Covid-19 then delays were to be expected, but no mention of this on the web site. Kate contacted me and has processed the refund so I have amended the rating. If we do manage to holiday in SA and stay here I will look to increase the rating if suitable

What an incredible stay we had. The house was so spacious and clean. A short stroll into town while watching the whales. The house is beautifully furnished and the lovely swimming pool came in handy on the hot afternoon. The shower was also deserving of a special mention. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely stay! Looking forward to our next trip to Hermanus and definitely to Perla again!
